**Fiction Frolic**

From October 1-19, join us in
raising 1,000 books for Book for
America and sharing in the
excitement of Neil Gaiman's holiday tradition
of All Hallow's Read. Give a scary book (or
any book... for this) for Halloween.

We know how relaxing, rewarding and adventurous reading is,but there are those who do not.Not that they chose to avoid reading, the opportunity to do so is not available. There are place in out nation that suffer from illiteracy due to not having books to read.We can help them by donating a new book or books that will be disturbed to children and adults that otherwise would not be able to obtain books.I am donating The Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause. It is a book that I enjoyed reading and being October it  fits the Halloween scene since it is a story with a vampire.

Blurb:
Zoe is wary when,in the dead of night, the eerily handsome yet frightening Simon comes to her house.Simon seems to understand the pain of loneliness and death and Zoe's brooding thoughts of her dying mother.
Simon knows death all too well.He is one of the undead, a vampire, seeking revenge for  the gruesome murder of his mother three hundred years ago.Does Simon dare ask Zoe to help free him from this lifeless chase and its intolerable solitude? Zoe must let her heart guide her thoughts through a tangle of fear and pain and desire so that she can see Simon for who he truly is,and understand that their lives could change forever.
